Final post, the face cloth. No surprises, spotless. Markus handled the challenge with aplomb, Miele machines may cost more, but worth their weight in gold. Can't imagine going back to anything else. I think Immer Besser is correct

For a time we stopped using these towels, as the Hotpoint just didn't budge the stains. Markus has no trouble though

There were two of these small white towels, I am unsure which one was coffee stained

Cottons 60 on Water plus and two hours later and we have the results. Bath towels:

Bath towels. Recent hot weather has meant more showering than usual, and unfortunately more grot!

Mum's facial cloth. God knows what ointments are on this

Coffee stained towel, feet+coffee+carpet= disaster

Some kind of food stain, looks like tomato sauce.

Kitchen hand towels, dad does manual work, which is why these are so grubby.

I wonder what will happen to Indesit's factories? I can't see whirlpool moving production out of Italy, considering a lot of their own products are made there, or they were. I would rather choose a whirlpool anyway over an Indesit, the quality can only improve.

Haier are recalling washing machines under the haier and bush brands (sold at argos). Apparently there is a component in the control panel which can overheat and lead to a fire risk. Can't say that I am at all surprised. Whay makes me wonder though, is whether the haier machines sold at comet...
