electra GL2 Middle section of control panel

The electra GL2 has arrived, works well and is in gook nick, apart from needing new drum bearings, pump filter and a font panel and lid re-spray. Here are som pikkies. Soon I've fixed the pump filter we will do some vids of her in action. The dispenser drawer.

Hi Richard Hi, the drum rotation of the 7447A I can't remember but will become clear in the video that I'm going to do later this evening. As for the vent hole is located on the bottom right hand corner.

The photos The actual drier, you'll have to forgive the picture as I have a Mac laptop that seems to do what it wants and refuses to rotate the image.

Aquired this little gem from my local second hand shop. Going to keep my eyes peeled for the maching washer in the same place. Get it next week so post pics of actual appliance. Cost of the drier was only £40 at that. Cheap as chips. Watch this space ....

Just received Just received the brochure (OMG)!!!! The date code on the back cover would appear to be 05/1974. Its defiantly pre 75 because the door handles have manually operated door locks. SCANS TO FOLLOW VERY SOON. Matt

Its not a W751 After Seamus told me how to open the door without power applied to the machine we went to the shop where I brought it. We got to door open and its a W754, its a 5kg load and has 1100 RPM spin. Machine is comming tomorrow (15/03/11) and will post pikkies then.

I found a Miele W751 in my local charity shop having it delivered on Tuesday next week 15th March. Only cost me £15, she'll scrub up well. Will include actual pics of the machine on Tuesday. I'll give you a stock photo for now.
