19 kilogrammes Quite unusual for a household machine or daily driver, I believe. It's a pitty that one cannot take a closer look onto the control panel. The dryers with the glass door look neat, too...

As we own a Euro toploader... ...I cannot actually tell you what a front loader normally does but back in time, I would say 3 to 5 rinses could be objected as regular. Maybe your washer is very HE and one doesn't know with these modern energy saving machines...

I don't use... ...automatic 40°C-55°C on our Bauknecht because I feel very unsure about the cleaning performance and hygiene in that programme. I always use the auto 60°C-70°C cycle. Maybe a waste of energy and time but I never had issues with undissolved tablets.

Nice idea! I think this is a better solution than placing things slanting towards the back wall like in my Bauknecht (Whirlpool) dishwasher. AFAIK, Samsung does not sell any dishwashers here in Germany.

@ dyson2drums You're right, the BOSCH/Siemens dryers are non-reversing which is really an issue with bedcloths.

Protex If you see the Latin origin it might just be "pro"+"textiles" so it simply means "for the clothes"...

How do you cope with the drawer? Is there a third or fourth wash arm to get things up there thoroughly clean?

AFAIK... ...it's been exactly that machine. Don't remember the funnel in the upper basket, though and the cycle indicator may have been a bit different. After all, it is 20 years ago and my memory is seemingly to fall apart.

Though I never used an US-style TL myself... ...from all what I have seen here and on youtube one can only advise against those appliances, even if they're praised HE. I wouldn't dare to call the process they're doing a wash. If someone's honest, they will admit that H-axxis top-loaders deliver...

I don't know if it was rebadged It's been a Privileg Matura from 1993 and definitively had a built-in heater. That was pre-Internet so: no photos here to proof.
