Last night my Whirlpool washer was filling for the rinse ( I had the temp. dial set on warm) I turned the water temp dial to hot and it started to fill the rinse with hot water.  I'm thinking this is probably a contact problem with the timer.  Any ideas will be appreciated.  Thanks !!!   Bob

I'm with Hans and would say this is way earlier than 1950.  We had a 1948-49 Frigidaire stove when I was small and it was certainly newer than this one.   Bob

There has got to be a way to keep a box of brown sugar from turning into a brick.  I don't use it often but it always seems to be hard as a brick when I go to use it.  Thanks for any ideas.   Bob

 I'm having a problem with my '56 Filtrator dryer. First off I have to give the drum a "boost" before the motor will start.  It now starts and runs for 5 to 7 minutes and shuts off.  What would cause this and what should I do to correct it.  Thanks for any help.   Bob

Pic 1 This is the water level on low - Just like your machine originally filled.  I'm going to put it on high fill this weekend and see how far it goes - Hopefully not over the top of the tub  Thanks for this info. Bob

I acquired this washer from Gordon a few weeks ago.  Everything seems fine except the Low setting for the water level is filling 3/4 of the way full before it starts agitating.  My question is there an adjustment that can be made to the pressure switch or how should I proceed with this...
