Frigidaire washers by GM and KA by Hobart. Never had a dishwasher that cleaned like the Kitchen Aids I grew up with and had in my houses. Would KILL for a Frigidaire washer from the early sixties.

Had One as a child. Had one in our house as a child. From the fifties. I always thought it was inconvenient because before you could close it, you had to pull down a lever in door where the catch was or it wouldn't close. Cool machine.

Pre-wash? Had one of these years ago and I never pre-washed my dishes. That thing was 25 years old and still cleaning better than anything I have had since. Wish I had it today.
