My Indesit L8 My Indesit L8LI from 1979 is still going strong after 35 years! Although the Samsung TL is my main driver,I use the L8 about once a month,just to watch the spin drain. As SA was 220v in those days we had the Italian versions.

A laser printer makes an excellent laminator! Place the document in its sleeve, drop in the printer & open up a blank MS Word document. Hit print and the heat sets the laminate. I usually turn the sleeve over & redo the print.

Enamel Repair Mathew Take a look at this pic of my Indesit 092. I gave the area a light sanding, treated it with Kurust and finished off with Pratley's Putty. I then sanded the putty to the shape of the drum. You can then apply some Hammerite, although I never bother with that.

Just like mine I have the same machine, an Indesit L8LI, but it's from 1979 and thus only 32 years old. I paid 10 Euro for it, but replaced the pump housing (14 Euro)as the seal was leaking. Seals are not available separately.
