How did those laundries work? There's a trailer park nearby that has a laundry room, with one Maytag wringer washer it it. (Most trailers have their own washer and dryer hookups nowadays). Anyway, the park owner rigged up a coin dispenser to the electrical outlet that the washer is plugged...

geoffdelp, Thanks for the pictures, I love all washers, but have a special place in my heart for wringer washers. I was around them since I could walk, and never had a bad experience with them. My mom simply warned me about the wringers. I would even love to have a DVD of your various washers...

Have you ever sold anything on Ebay? I'm pretty sure that sellers can see what the maximum bid is that bidders have made, before the auction even closes. What's to stop them from having a friend bid right up close to the maximum bid, to get the most money for their item?
