My New LG WM2010CW Washer: first report!

SenseClean You're right Jamie. It's listed under "FEATURES" not in the owner's manual. It also says, "Design, features and specifications subject to change without notice." I guess that's something that changed without notice. Oh well, I love that machine anyway.

My New LG WM2010CW Washer: first report!

SenseClean™ It's actual called SenseClean™ SenseClean™ measures the water’s turbulence and then adjusts water and cycle length for more precise cleaning and energy efficiency. The owner's manual on line for your machine talks about it. Check out the link. Go to the link, click on "Support"...

My New LG WM2010CW Washer: first report!

Wow, what an awesome washer, Jamie. I love my LG Steam Washer. How do you like the “Clean Sense” feature? Steve, it’s not LG’s service that’s bad. It’s the GE warranty company that Peter used that was so bad.

How long do you let the lids open after using...

Top loaders- the lids have never been shut. They stay open during and after use. Front loaders- the lids are shut during use and open until the dryer finishes drying the load that was washed in them (Sliding dispenser drawers are always left ajar until the next use. Flip open dispenser drawers...

What are the best new models for a large family?

Checking for sound/Bob question A good way to check out the insulation of a dishwasher is to take your cell phone to the store, set the ringer volume to the maximum setting, put it in each dishwasher with the door closed and have someone call (Or set off the alarm on it). Then compare the...

    Perm Press Cool Down

The new Kenmores and Whirlpools neutral drain the wash water until the water can not longer be seen in the basket. The basket spins a quarter to a half turn in one direction and then in the other. The electric pump turns off. The basket spins at extra slow (About 60 to 90 RPM which is the same...

    Pushbutton Kenmore Pair

You’re the best, Jon! Thanks for the Perm Press video. The dispensing of the detergent and the gentle agitation while filling in the “cool” part of the cycle are AWESOME! With the Vari Flex agitator and the “Custom Care” option the wash possibilities are endless. Have fun! ~Jeff

    Pushbutton Kenmore Pair

Congratulations Jon! The Perm Press cycle on that machine is my all time favorite cycle of any washer. That would make a great video when you have the time (Hint, hint). I know you’re going to have a lot of fun with that machine. ~Jeff

    Question for USA guys

American Laundry Behavior The most common occurrence that I’ve observed when watching people do laundry in their homes is that they set the machine for the “normal cycle” with a cold wash and cold rinse not matter what they are washing. I’ve asked them if they think they should use hot water...

    Question for USA guys

Glenn, you are correct that the 1st spin is slower and shorter. The Cabrio is not nearly as cool as the F&P, so one has no way to see the actual RPM of spin as on the F&P, but it’s faster than the spin during fill and slower than the final spin on “Casual” which is 400 RPM. You’re dead on also...

    Question for USA guys

Similar to the F&P that Glenn mentioned, the Whirlpool Cabrio Agi, uses the agitator mounted dispenser cup, however only spins for 1 minute and 15 seconds between the wash and 1st rinse when set for an extra rinse. The short spin doesn’t create enough centrifugal force to move the softer out of...

Your welcome, Greg and that explains why it wasn’t hooked up at the Tucson Wash-in. Steven is anyone going to save those dryers? I thought they would have been gone in a flash. ~Jeff
