Top oven of the double oven won't heat up on bake OR broil. I get a tiny bit of heat on the baking burner but that's it. Thermostat light goes on. Tried swaping it with new burners (they're plug ins) but to no avail. Bottom oven works just fine. Any help will be appreciated.

Still using my rotisserie !!!! Wow, a post from 2014 still garnering interest. Another original accessory that was available in '57 was the rotisserie chicken basket. Sarah- As far as incorporating a rotisserie into your Frigidaire, that would be brain surgery. You would have to drill holes...

Item no. ASR 4154 04. It's a GE and/or Hotpoint oven selector switch out of a 1957 Hotpoint Customline double oven model # RJ 12. This switch accepts the wiring for the time bake option.

This manual...... I see it on Ebay from time to time. Black lettering with a brown background on the cover. This is the one you want. It covers all the units including the floor models and the wall, countertop units.

Whoah !!!!! This is a big job but it can be done. This unit has to be totally dismantled and all the interior parts washed/disinfected and primered. That's the key, proper preparation so the paint adheres properly. I would use a paint that's made to cover metal, just for the durability. Before...
