whats the problem? the module? i noticed on one of your new wave videos on occasions the drum struggles to turn a bit as though the motor is labouring but once it gets going its fine. is it all related? also with your new wave does the water level never rise more than 3 inches up the door...

Alphabet time? So Darren what programmes do you actually use on your logic and your new wave? Woman that used to live opposite me had the washer dryer version of your logic and everything used to get washed on D! On my soft wave i used to use programme 8 a lot for some reason then back round...

you could do that if you had the space and time lol. However out of your collection I know what would go in between my two kitchen cabinets and that would be the Logic! As i was driving home this evening I also thought of something else ive seen on a logic. "Supercare" Am i right in thinking its...

Couldn't agree more and I would love to own a modern day version of something 100% british from Merthyr Tydfil. Love the way your logic goes straight into distribution as its emptying its tub full of water. Strangely every hoover from that era does that but my computer control didn't...instead...

I agree, the boss of laundry awaits for you to fill it up with holiday gear and chuck it on programme D! (maybe thats just my view on it lol)

Lovely work! Darren, any ideas on the theory of dual spin? I thought you might know as you have answered a lot of my unanswered questions lol. I've tried to research this model of Hoover (A3256) but have got nowhere with it.

UK member seeks new vacuum cleaner !

I've heard these Oreck things are good but they have bags. I personally have had a Dyson DC05 Absolute + turbo brush since June 2002 and it's been faultless...I can't really say any more on the matter but I've heard Dyson's are slowly but surely getting worse! Have you thought about Electrolux?

Fantastic Logic videos Darren, if only machines were made like that today. its evidence like that which makes me want to turf out the outhouse, get a bit of plumbing done and go and find a logic and an energy control electron or an electron dual spin! (question actually...what did hoover mean by...

Logic Splendid vid Darren! Was going to do a video of the Zanussi on whites but i decided it wasnt going to be very entertaining as there wasnt much laundry to wash. I have some cleaning cloths to do later this evening so I will upload fresh material then!

Logic Love the pics Darren. On a cotton wash cycle, after the final spin does your Logic do tiny little tumbles with the pump not operating before it finishes? (They never called it "fluffing cycle" in the 80's LOL)

Ooooh Darren! Before i forget. Any chance of seeing some more pics of your prize beast (Logic) ive seen one or two of it but would love to see some in depth ones especially of the control panel. So if you haven't been using the AEG then what has been getting exercise of late? Logic? New Wave...

Darren: Have you had an energy control series Hoover Electron then? I'd love one of them. my child minder had one and I thought at the age of 4 it was the bees knees, she had the 1100 de luxe and the school i went to had the 800 de luxe. I liked the way it used to do short tumbles on whites...

programme E on ours was Minimum Iron, a 50 degree synthetic wash, i think they change its name as yours was the newer model. i always remember on the final spin the machine would be at 800 rpm, the timer would advance, the motor slowed down and then rose to 1100rpm with fury! Ours used to have a...

Kyle. Do u remember much about the Hoover Electronic your parents had when you were young? my mother had the model with the silver door catch and the timer that made some really strange noises. it lasted 14 yrs. Did the one you had have a round cornered, flush fitting door with a push button to...

That looks very similar to one I had. I had a Zanussi Nexus FL1084, it was decent, it had a light on the door to tell you it was locked like yours does, but the door interlock was a pain, I think I had 3 new ones on it in 8 months, I ditched that in 01 and bought an Ariston which was a mistake...

Am i right in thinking that on some older Zanussi's if the fast spin button wasn't pressed it would only spin at 400rpm even on the cottons cycles? I know I've seen it somewhere before where the fast spin button was permanently pressed in so the user could get their 800/1000/1200 on cycles A-D...

Well I've always liked the Blue one. It's a firm family favourite in our household. I was appalled when they took the green alpine fresh off the market it used to smell great (in 1995 in my old Colston Ariston 850XD washer dryer) For mine and my family's washing I still use spring awakening...
