    Frigéavia G31 washing machine

After some minutes of washing the water inlet hose has started to leak ! Luckily I was next to the machine when it happened ! I installed a new one and the cycle has continued without problems, except a small leak at the overflow outlet hose (I didn't put enough glue !)

    Frigéavia G31 washing machine

Well it has the usual issues for a (low use) 1976 machine, leaks at the detergent dispenser hose and the overflow outlet hose, electric plug's prongs were a bit oxidized. That machine is very well designed, the panels are easy to disassemble for service and allows a great access to the motor...

    Frigéavia G31 washing machine

Thanks for you comments. These machines are made by Thomson like some Frigidaire of the same era. The Frigéavia machines were branded Giravia in the past (that's why the model numbers of these machines starts by a G). Here is some photos of the lid open: The softener dispenser can be emptied...

    Indesit L6 wiring diagram

Hello and welcome to the forum. I have the diagrams of the L6SI and the L6SFL, I guess it's close to the L6. It's always nice to find a new old stock timer.

    Philips Slimstar mark 111

Yes, the T12 series came after the Slimstar series. The chassis are totally different: The Slimstar have an enamel tank and the body is fully removable so you have a perfect access for servicing. The T12 have a plastic tank and you can just remove the right plate for servicing (it's somewhat...

I have this one on my archive folders, the images came from a local classified ad. According to some friends this machine is made in Italy and seems quite rare.

    Whirlpool AWM613 H-axis toploader

Too bad :( Sometimes the dampers and the motor goes so noisy that you can't hear a dead bearing and when it leaks by the bearing it's most of the time too late. You can enlarge the bearing diameter with some rubber to fit in the tub hole, unless the tub is cracked, it could work but it might...

    Whirlpool AWM613 H-axis toploader

T12 Hi, nice "Super T12". This chassis was very common in France, they were discontinued in 1998. They existed in Philips/Whirlpool and also in Radiola, Laden, Bauknecht and maybe Ignis. These machines were quite silent when new but after some years the dampers goes bad and the machine shakes...

Thank you for the translation. I've still not tried the no iron / permanent press cycles, so that's why the spin button did nothing.

    Bauknecht WA758SC

Hi, I've recently get this very nice machine picked up by a friend. Built like a tank, heavy, steady and pretty quiet because it uses an asynchronous motor (spin speed 800rpm by using a clutch mechanism). The drain pump were completely dead and the filter gaskets leaked. We replaced it by a...

YAY!!! I found my dream machine!!!

Great machine, I love the spin draining on these ones. Their weak point were the timers, the mechanism can get stuck due to dried grease and dust accumulation, the switches tends to burn too. Already fixed one of those, it wasn't easy but worth it. The Philips with glass lid exists also in...
