I would just change tge defrost timer at this point

dont get stuck on one thing Could be many things. Bad defrost Bad airflow Low refrigerant Failing compressor. Start simple check your airflow acrossed that coil. Lack of airflow can cause it to freeze up. It may be worth your time to call a local company if you really like this fridge.

Ok ok without gauges on the system hardto tell anything. First you need to verify charge. Find the name plate charge buy little cans of refrigerant to equal tgat charge. Find a port (if one exist) let most of tge refrigerant out of the compressor till just a few psi is left. Leave your new...

frost free I have a similar ge combo model and its fully frost free. The coilcould be a indacation of a system with a low charge or internal blockage in the coil

you have to charge that to run a company. Working. For hvac companys for eight years now to run a company they have to charge that to make profit. I run commercial service so i am a little more expensive. But with insurance labor and truck and tool cost a tech on the road cost nearly 100 bucks...

Watch that very close heat of that excess will turn your refrigerant acidic and detroy your compressor.
