Initial thoughts on Whirlpool Duet WFW9150WW

yes... As mentioned above, the Duet does have the Extra Rinse option. But honestly, this washer does pretty good on just one rinse. Aaron

Initial thoughts on Whirlpool Duet WFW9150WW

:) Yes, the washer does gradually go up to its top spin speed, it seems that if it were to just take off to its top speed it would balance out just fine, but I'm sure the bearings would be gone in no time. And my water heater is about 3 ft. from the washer and total hot water pipe length to the...

So I've run a few loads of wash through this now and it seems to do a pretty good job. The controls are pretty straight forward and easy to use, though the cycle select knob is on the cheap side. Pretty good wash action. This one has a spin speed of 1200 RPM's when on High. It can take a few...

You guys are gonna be mad at me....

Well...I got a front loader finally. I went with a Whirlpool Duet 4.0 cu. ft. Here's the story: I've been on a crusade to find a decent FL and just yesterday I found a guy right down the road from me with this washer brand new in the box... $325.00. I couldn't pass up the deal...especially since...

    Laundromat Last Night

We have Maytag triple wash machines down the road from us. They cost 4 bucks per load...but take about 40 minutes to complete the cycle. But these machines are quite old, and honestly I think the newer consumer front loaders are quite a bit bigger. Aaron

    Another FL question....

So I've noticed that some of these front loaders have a completely "flat" horizontal axis washtub...whereas some are at a "tilt". Which is best? Thanks... Aaron

    LG Front Loader....

thanks.... Thanks for that bit of info! So what problems have you had with your LG? I do purchase alot of my things through Sears, since they are 3 miles down the road from me. And the Sears store here in my town actually has a good reputation for coming right out when there is a problem, and...

    LG Front Loader....

So I think with part of my income tax return, we're going to buy a new front loader. Our Whirlpool TL does fine, but our water rates are going up quite a bit this year. Even our meter rate went from $1/mth to $18/mth...just to have a meter! So I think its time to be a little bit more energy...

Will this work on my DD?

Part Number... If your referring to the part number on the flex vane agitator that I posted in the very first comment, it is 387838. I went onto searspartsdirect.com and searched the part number and it comes up with an agitator with no pic. I'm assuming its the flex vane, also cheaper on the...

Will this work on my DD?

hmmmm... why would rollover be poor? wouldn't this be like having a maytag dependable care model? Or is it because of the tub being more narrow?

Will this work on my DD?

Forgot to mention... I forgot to mention the website says this will fit a Whirlpool washer. I've just never seen one of these before.

Will this work on my DD?

Will this agitator work on my 2003 DD Whirlpool washer? I'd rather have this agitator over the "dual action" Aaron http://www.apwapplianceparts.com/Store_Part.aspx?Id=312041
