I almost forgot. Allen. My Bosch doesn't have any "cold wash" or "reduced temperature" options. It does do, two pre-rinses with completely non-heated water, before going into the main wash stage, which heats the water up to 160*. I personally haven't noticed the dishes looking any less clean...

It wouldn't suprise me.. if SQ had a heat sensor, that protects the machine.    Glad to hear yours is working again :) 

Would anyone know... If I can somehow turn off the pre-wash cycles on my Bosch? I'd like to try Bubble Bandit.. But, I don't want to use the machines dispenser cup (because, I've heard so many complaints about it not dissolving well) This Bosch seems to do about two pre-washes before, it goes...

Well... I guess Finish is now "safe" enough for use in my dishwasher, and now I can begin working on the stash. Didn't encounter any of that horrible etching effect in the Bosch. And was quite pleased actually with the performance of some power-ball tabs. One wonders if I'll be able to...

One thing a little odd.. Is it has that "new car" or leather cleaner scent. I actually don't mind the scent at all, I think it's kinda pleasant, I just don't understand why it's there. Is it the stainless steel tub, or is it a component in the machine that gives off the scent? :)

There's a family at our Church.. that launders there clothes in Cold water, with this witch brew. Let's just say... everyone purposely runs for the hills when they see them, there very unpopular, due to their stench. Only the late birds, sit by them, and that's only because theres no where else...

I can't say.. I've owned a Bosch At Least, yet anyway. I've just been told there was a slowly opening, detergent cup. I probably should research that a little more.    My current dishwasher (a Whirlpool Ultrawash) was the one I was mentioning, when I talked about undissolved tablets. 

I picked up a box of Spring Magic, Ultra Fab Powder, for $1 and some change at Wal-Mart the other night. I opened the box tonight, and wow... the scent is really strong. I'm not gonna say I hate the scent, I kinda like it, but, if you smell, or just open the lid, it hits you in the face.  Mich

As for the machine itself.. It's in really good condition. However, I just wanted to hear from some fellow members who may have a Bosch of similar age. I know there's a lot of talk about repair prone, but what about reliability?   I'd just love advice. Anything that's known about these...

There are some nice advantages of a slow release detergent chamber. One being, most modern detergents contain Enzymes & Oxygen Bleach. And, when they're released at the same time, you get great bleaching action, but the enzymes start to wind off a little quicker than they normally should.. due...

If you've seen my other thread, I'm currently on the hunt for a similar model dishwasher, and have landed my eyes on a Bosch Integra 500 Series.    I really love the model and it'd look really nice in our Kitchen, plus, since, I wouldn't be purchasing a new one, I could afford to keep saving...

Yeah... As, I posted in another thread, Commercial Cascade "Fryer Boil Out" should be the same formula as Cascade Professional, since it contains the same ingredients. 

Also worth noting.. Is many Mexican Brands (like freddy mentioned) like Foca & Roma, still contain Phosphates, and a lot of them at that. Mexican water, is much, much harder than american water, and they simply need phosphate based detergents. I don't believe there's been any bans, or...
