I am looking for a vintage Whirlpool belt drive washer with the magic mix filter. I have a LVB5300W1. I like the timer and cycle selections in the little counsel on the right side. If anyone has a washer similar to this in the PA NY or OH area please leave me know.

Will these part numbers work for a whirlpool LVB5300W1 too? I have a rattle during the spin cycle.

I am looking to buy an old whirlpool washer model LVB5300W-1 I need the little plastic piece that goes into the timer shaft so the timer indicator shows the cycles. Does anyone know where I could find this piece? Thanks

More Problems I just plugged in the dishwasher to see if it would run and I believe that the timer is bad. Something shorted right when I went to turn it on. Also I believe that the soap compartment is bad too. It looks like it has been leaking.

I wouldn’t say the basement is cold as the wood burner is in that room also but it is against a stone wall where a draft comes through the door. The room is usually between 60 and 80 degrees F.

My trusty Maytag is starting to give me some issues. When I do a normal or large load it agitated really slow when it first starts to run. It makes a noise like it is running slow. If I turn it off and then back on it usually corrects the problem. I do not know what could be causing it. There...
