    What on earth is THIS?

Its a Beatty WonderMatic! I had one once. Long story but its gone now. Solid porcelain tub machine. Should have a 3 vane aluminum agitator. Very cool find. It has a unique reversing motor tranny made by Beatty right here in Fergus Ontario.

Dishwasher, out with the old, in with the new!

I will hold a moment of silence for the old AEG. RIP you hard working old girl. That being said, I do love the new Miele and hopefully one day can meet her in person!

Westinghouse TL washer & dryer, should I grab them??

Kevin, even if it has a straight vane... it will take a ramp agitator.  You can always put one in yourself.  It looks like a nice machine to have.

New arrivals - A Maytag set, a Wilkins Servis, A Whirlpool and a Bendix combo washer / dryer.

Very cool machines to add to your collection Leon! The balance ring in the Whirlpool looks more rounded than ours ever did. I love the slightly different mod's the Aussie machines have.

Vintage Speed Queen Automatic in Mpls

This is an incredible find!  The very first SQ automatic in such great shape.  It's amusing to see the stainless and porcelain portions reversed.  That tub is so pristine.  I look forward to a video too, Robert... especially of the interesting sequence of spray rinses this machine has.

Thanks everyone for your comments on this latest find.  It's been a while for me to come across anything interesting.    Hi Peter, the GSW was General Steel Wares, a company that produced appliances and other steel wares located in Ontario.  They were around for a long time, producing the more...

I think the bilingual control panels came in the 1980's, then GE's counter to that was to use symbols which ended up being more confusing IMHO.   Rich, my trained eye tells me it spins at 550 rpm.  Approx,  LOL
