    Hoover Ecologic Dryer

Evening all, I was looking through gumtree this week and came across a lady selling this dryer for £50ono. I really only need a dryer for emergencies,so it's not going to get used every day,it looks in really good condition. Just wanted advice from some of the ones who might own one,is it worth...

    My new washing machine

Good evening everyone,I've never really liked the Haier washer dryer,so I've given it back to the landlord and bought my own. I chose the Bosch VarioPerfect 1200 (WAQ2431DGB) with Eco silence drive,I'm still getting to know the machine but I'm so far pretty impressed with how quiet it is,I've...

Ariel I've switched back over to ariel now,I've just put on a whites and lights wash, set at 50c cotton, added a scoop of vanish gold and paused the machine to soak for an hour,I read on the persil website that you can risk setting in heavy stains by washing too hot so I'm giving this method a...

    Creda 17032 Supaspeed 1150

Great stuff! I've been watching the videos on YouTube of the electra 17018 spin cycles and they seem slightly different to what i remember from my nan's 11500 model, If my memory is right the old style creda/electra was just one continuous spin up to 1000rpm,where the 17018 has a short spin...

Speaking of added stain removers,I spilled curry sauce on a white t shirt, treated it with vanish gold, rubbed it in as instructed, gave it 30 seconds, added a scoop with surf, washed at 60 and hay presto, the stain is still there :/

I had a look online and noticed that Downy have the product in other countries, Unfortunately I'm going to have to wait a little longer to find out as the supermarket had sold out of them this evening, but once I get a bottle I will see how they work Neil

    Lenor Unstoppable Beads

Has anyone in the UK tried these yet? My other half is popping to Asda after work so I've put them on the shopping list,I'm curious as to whether they are just designed for freshness or do they add softness to? I once tried the Comfort Pearls if anyone remembers them and I wasn't keen on the...

    Creda 17032 Supaspeed 1150

That's a shame! It must be more and more difficult as the years go on to find parts for these kind of machines, The classic Creda/Electra machines are as rare as hens teeth these days! I'd love to find a 11500 or a 11400 crusader model Are you keeping the machine or will you wait in hope for a...
