Thanks to all
for the good wishes. Its been an ok day, and tonight I spent with the Organ committee from church, of which I am chairman.
and for the record, I', 24 + 20...
This is an amazing place.
I spent...
about 1/3 of my tax return for this...it was sorta needed.
A new Dell XPS1530 laptop...
I finally parted out my old 2000 Dell Dimension desktop...
So far so good, but Windows Vista is taking some getting used to!
1960 Hotpoint
Robert the first dryer mt mom had was a 1959 Hotpoint, what triggered the memory was the dial on the panel, and I remember the instructions inside the door too.
I can't remember if ours had the lint trap like that though... I do remember the perforated drum though...
Thanks for...
nice pictures
Thanks for sharing those Robert...
My favorites are the pushbutton Kenmores, beautiful machines!!!
Whats the vintage of the Hotpoint dryer with the funky lint trap?
feel sorry for him too because...
He will never know TRULY clean clothes either...
I still have some of my 8-tracks too!
and a TV without a rotary dial tuner!
How very nice
to see you had such a great time Bethann, wish I could have been there!
Nice to see the machines again too, and Ross, man do you look awesome!
Thanks for sharing the pictures!
Water vacuums...
What is not mentioned is once the water is saturated, it will just spew dust...Don't waste your money...
AND no matter what vacuum you use, you will always have some dust to deal with.
From what you've described, I'd suggest a Miele canister with powerhead. MIele's are quiet...
on the verge...
of buying a new Dell computer here Jason, be on the lookout for me I guess!!
Congrats on the job too, as one who just finished 3 1/2 months of unemployment I know how great it feels to get back to work.
All the best!
Jeff
