belt drive commercial reliability How did the belt drives do in terms of reliablity on the coin op market?

Imperial 70 maybe If it didn't have that marbelinzing on it perhaps it was one of the last belt drives produced like my mothers 85 Imperial 70, the console was the same minus the faux wood grain...

That dryer may have been paired with a belt drive washer no? The dryer seems like it matches a belt driven washer, but ya that washer is definetely dd.

Water temp buttons Wow I've never seen that combo of water temp buttons and the load selector dial. I've seen that model with the temp control as a dial tho. Definetely a standard capper. Beautiful machine!

His point wasn't coolness it was reliability I agree, the DD is an excellent machine from a reliability standpoint, and I don't think anyone would argue there weren't (aren't) very interesting from a coolness standpoint, but I do totally agree with combo52. My two cents. S

sluggish? ya I noticed the sluggish spin too, I also noted that in one of the videos of the agitation cycle the sound seemed very labored, like either a tired motor or a slipping belt? Was the agitation video taken with a full load of clothes?
