Belt Drive This machine looks like it can be the famous "wig-wag" belt drive machine. The agitator seen is made to fit that. But wow, a bolt down! I wonder if it has a pump, or is it gravity drain?

I'd say late 60's at earliest. All dryers on this ad had the extra large lint screen, which meant they were all of the modern direct-drive blower. Many dryers throughout the 60's still had the belt-driven blower with the short lint screen.

Still available in 80's That looks like an 80's Maytag set, and appliances of that time still came in harvest wheat.

Not what they used to be. I think today's SQs with the perf tubs are no where near as well built as their solid tub ancestors. Those old guys lasted forever in laundromats.

Newer than 60's This washer is from the early to mid 70's. It has a 70's style instrument panel, and a white agitator. Most or all of the 60's models had black agitators.
