Maytag should come out wth a dishwasher where you put glasses and cups in the bottom rack, and dinner plates and silverware in the top rack. S/S tub. That would be innovative! Just a wish. ( I miss my old Maytag dishwasher)

I would stay away from the Frigidaire dryers. Too small. and crappy. The Whirlpool ones are the bests. Serge

This is my Whirlpool set for the last 8 years. Not one repair on either one. Pretty happy with them, except washer is a bit noisy. Serge

On my Ultra wash dishwasher shown above, my Water Miser cycle does 1 wash and 1 rinse. This model is quite frugal for a non- tall tub american model. I think my normal cycle uses about 6.5 gallons of water ( 1 wash, 2 rinses).

top rack. also spotless. as always with this Kenmore dishwasher.

here's the result bottom rack spotless.

normal cycle, water heat and no heat dry selected. Which means 1 wash, 2 rinses. My sensor never made it longer in 8 years of usage. (no prewash) Cascade powder(both dispensers).
