The new machine he bought is a Asko. Made in Sweden. The store guy who installed the new one machine took the older machine for recycling. Also, i dont work anymore with recycling machines. I do hope he is happy with the Asko and it will work longer than the Aeg.

The owner of the Aeg has bought a new machine. We tried using a last time and smoke started seeping from the backside. I do belive there was a fault with the motor, because it sounded awful even without clothes.

We have checked the bearings so far. They seem to be fine. I have been thinking if something have got stuck between the drum and the inner tub. Might be tricky getting it out if thats the case. Hmm. Maybe its better as Qualin said to buy new machine instead. We,ll see.
