Well Launderess those are the two times in the year in NJ I actually like to be on the road. Thanksgiving and Christmas day. The two days it becomes a virtual ghost town where I am. Wish it was the other 363 days also. LOL.

Well from the videos I have seen on the current speed queen FLers I would be glad to have one. No nonsense workhorses. Doesn't take forever to balance a load and is pretty much straight forward that uses visibly more water. Very good on Speed Queen.

If the current batch of SQ FL washers are cleaning well now.. what do you really need a heater for? Kind of takes away from the name.

I think the standard tub models though had better wash action. I've used many Maytag standard tub washers and I saw powerful turnover with those machines.. as long as they are not overloaded.

So John Combo52...are the 2.5 rotations set ? Or can it oscillate more revolutions depending on load size? I would think it would need to to get the rollover. Once again time will tell.

Just to look at these machines you can see the quality. Nothing made today has this style or kind of substance.

Well Norgeway as far as American machines go I think SQ probably has the best build out there. One thing I noticed in their front loaders was the quality of the SS wash drum and the larger solid baffles. Much better than WP,LG,Samsung or Frigidaire. Even so there is no porcelain on their (SQ)...
