    New Appliance Advice Request

Bosch configuration issues... Shane: If I put a glass baking dish/pan in the lower rack (towards the back of the d/w), I can't fit two sets of dinner plates in the d/w. The plates I use are curved/bowled versus flat, so they tend to kind of flop all over the place. The space on the sides of...

    Info on the 3 Blackstones

Blackstone Coffee Pots? Thanks for the info on the Blackstones. I've always felt that they were a regional/NE machine, although some have been spotted in Arizona. ;-) The fact that they were manufactured in Jamestown, NY kind of confirms that for me. Since they stopped manufacturing and didn't...

Lawdy, Lawdy!! My Norgetags from Montgomery Ward's did the same thing!! Never did figure out what was wrong. The washer used to "lock" me out of the laundry room. Thank heavens there was another door (leading out through the garage) that I could access. Glenn: I'm glad Sis has the set in the...

    LG Nighmare continues

Hey Peter! If you really think the LG is going to have a major leak (before you get the consumer issue resolved), purchase one of those drip pans. Since you have no place to drain any excess water, just invest in a small shop vac to pick up the spills. They're great for dry use (cars...

Laundry detergents – Regular or H.E.?? Also, suggestions to keep whites, white?

More Rinso info... Here's a pic of the latest Rinso detergent version. They are also making a non-chlorine bleach. I've had good results with it. Since it is relatively fragrance-free, it is quite compatible with those LOUD Mexican fabric softeners that I use.

Laundry detergents – Regular or H.E.?? Also, suggestions to keep whites, white?

Low Sudsing Rinso Hey All! Rinso is still available! It is now manufactured in Indonesia. This version is low-sudsing and contains no phosphates. I purchased mine at a 99 cent store. There are several different flavours available, although none of them seem to have any real fragrance. I also...
