Just get a Miele! I tend to shy away from these companies as they don't have a very good reputation when it comes to after sales service. I would not have spent that money on a Panasonic, rather I would've bought a Siemens, Bosch or at a stretch Miele. Miele have the new 7 kg in the classic...

Used Gentle 50°C It took 1 hr 20 mins to complete the cycle. It's connected to cold water. The heater is 1.8 kw, so not bad considering. The wash pump is rated at 600 watts.
