Hamilton I assume it gas, my Rheem Wedgewood has the same red sticker( right side of dryer door opening) This is a great dryer...had this dryer in house I rented in college.  Do you know the year...i'm guessing 53 or 54.

Hi all :   Back from the sticky East Coast to find that the house sitter broke the temperature knob on the 1-18 dryer.  To say that I'm annoyed would be a gross understatement.    Where do I start?......does someone still make this part.  Model is DEC-56, some here told me it's a 1979.    ...
