Replacing the Agitator Dogs in an Early to Mid 2000s Direct Drive Whirlpool

In my mind, when the clothes go up to the top of the agitator before the cycle starts, the washer is full. Unlike my mother who would set the machine on a medium fill, cold/cold, and shove in 6 pairs of my father's VERY, VERY large jeans, a pile of his heavy fleece sweatshirts, six towels, and...

Replacing the Agitator Dogs in an Early to Mid 2000s Direct Drive Whirlpool

There was more in there than you could see. Before the cycle started, the dry clothes went up to the top of the agitator. It was small, light items, so they probably all went down to the bottom. I generally only use the large or super plus water levels.

1980s Maytag Washer with Hotpoint Dryer

Was cruising around Craigslist's appliance section and happened upon these units. Most of the older machines around here seem to be 90s DD Whirlpool/Kenmore machines with the occasional Westinghouse or Maytag. Roughly what year would this washer have been made? I've been in touch with the...

My Whirlpool washing machine has been problem free since installation and gets used quite heavily. My friend Jonathan (GusHerb) who constantly...

On The Organ Trail in Manhattan

Saint Patrick's Cathedral in NYC is my home away from home. A very dear friend works in the music department there and has let me play the organ during Mass and a few times "after hours". Have also played at Saint Mary the Virgin, "Smokey Mary's" when I was 16. Here's a few pics from Saint...

    A Pair of Vintage Osterizers

Hey all, I generally stick to the vacuum forum, but wanted to share these gems with folks who really appreciate them. The cream/goldish colored one was an eBay purchase, and the black and chrome one was a gift from a friend. They've both been cleaned up completely since the pics were taken...

Speed Queen Front Load Washer Help

As a fag smoking queen with a need for speed, whose car has a lightning fast tranny, I take absolutely no offense to that! (New poster over here, usually spend my time in the land of vacuum cleaners!)
