That’s what it looks like to me also, Kevin, but I’ve tried a zillion of them (I seriously have a zillion of them) but the plug is always just a tad too big for the outlet.
Here’s the power cord base, with a Salton cart cord and a tabletop cart cord. As you can see, a the cart cord might work, but the enclosure is too small.
I found this crazy huge Salton warming tray at the Goodwill the other day and of course I had to have it, but it doesn't take a standard Salton cord, nor does it take the cord for a salton cart. Has anyone any experience in this area?
The local salvage store has had this refrigerator forever, for about $300. Someone bought it but returned it because it "didn't get cold enough". They've offered to let me have it for free, but can an old refrigertor be recharged?
Thanks!
I thought it might be something like that, but I'm surprised it's the lower oven. I'm thinking of buying this to replace the Kenmore/Roper hot mess I had gotten for a second stove, but the price is beyond my budget right now. I'm keeping an eye on it.
Hello there,
I saw an ad for a 30" double oven range. It didn't list a brand, but it said it was "versatonic". I did a search, and the only thing I could find was a reference to microwave cooking. Is the upper oven a microwave?
Preheat function
I’m working on the calibration, and I think I’m almost there. The trouble with this stove is that there’s not an indicator light or even a click then it reaches temp. (Actually, there is a light, but I think it’s burned out).
While I’m thinking about it: what is the function...
It worked!
I did just as you suggested, (made sure the buttons were pushed all the way in, and it worked great. Thanks!
I noticed that the water level buttons aren’t always even - for instance, when I push the “normal” button, the “medium” button doesn’t pop all the way out (and vice-versa)...
Thanks! I read the maintenance manual for this dryer, and it didn't say anything about taking the top off, so we removed the whole cabinet, which is a major PITA. Is there a way to remove the top?
I'm back across the mountains, so I won't have a chance to look at if for a few weeks, but I am looking forward to trying this.
Is the best way to do it to have it set in the off position and turn the screw counter clockwise?
Thanks, John. There were no instructions in the package, and I don't remember numbers, just maybe letters? But it sounds like it may be working as intended. In any event, I don't want to go through another round of disassembling that beast :-)
Robert, this site is an invaluable resource to many people, and you've continuously improved it over the years, but there's a time for everything.
I hope someone can take up the cause and save this fun and informative little corner of the Internet, but I totally get where you are coming from. :-)
