Lights Dose the engine light come on when the key is in the on position? If it doesn’t then something is shorting the computer. I have seen and fixed a lot of mopars that have done this. Also make sure the ASD rely is good.

Water temp I know I’m a little crazy but I keep our thankless water heater at 160*. As for towels go’s we only have white towels that get washed in that hot water after every use.
