But.
MUST they buy insurance? If they live and breathe in this country are they REQUIRED to buy insurance? That is the part that is absolutely WRONG!! Health care for all is grand. But, it comes with cost. If the "rich" or the corporations are taxed, don't think it won't be passed on to us!!
I am really surprised
everyone is not outraged. Yes, we need affordable health care for Americans. But, HOW DARE the federal government tell its citizens that if you live and breathe you WILL pay for insurance, or be FINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe that is a CROCK and...
Maytag touch up for racks
I bought a bottle of the Maytag touch up for racks. I prepped them VERY well, applied the product, and let it set for a week. It came off in the FIRST wash!! I don't know if I got a bad bottle or what. I bought the Plasti-dip brand made for dishwasher racks (it...
My first washer was a wringer Maytag. I lived in a studio apartment and didn't have hook ups for a standard machine. I got a hose and hooked it up to the sink to fill the machine. I hooked a hose to the elbow and drained the water into the toilet, then filled the machine again for the rinse...
I just bought a Lay-z-boy recliner. They offered the fabric protectant, but I passed it up. What about good old Scotch Guard? Would you use it on a new piece? Opinions please! Thank you!
Would whoever posted the picture comparison of Crawford and Jackson either post it again, or send me a copy? I forgot to make a copy of it. It was really something!! Thanks!!

I need a solenoid for the detergent dispenser. Does anyone know what one would work for this? No one lists the 14 model anymore, but there is surely a solenoid out there that will work. Thanks for the help!!
I have found ...
that American made products today are usually quite inferior to the overseas made products. But when you figure in the labor costs to not only build the unit you are buying (say, a stereo) but to pay the labor costs for building the parts to build the unit, and the parts to...
When I defrost . . .
my '49 Westinghouse I use a special "defrost heater" I found at an estate sale. It was designed just for this purpose. I forget the name brand. Makes the job easy! Since it's just me, I only have to defrost every 4-6 weeks. I've got a little "red dot" thingy that helps you...
Has anyone sent off a vintage mixmaster to be restored? I've seen a couple of places on the internet that say they do a complete rebuild from the ground up. They will also re-paint and decal the unit. Any opinions?
I agree!! The overusage of anti-bacterial products is a problem. I only use anti-bacterial dish detergent to clean my CPAP mask with occassionaly. I rarely use bleach. I get sick twice a year, maybe three times a year, but keep in mind I am a bartender. I am exposed to sick people everyday...
I finally bought this CD. It was expensive (about $50) but it is a great CD. Dionne is a fantastic artist, and even with her weathered voice, is still worth listening to.
Sunbeam juicer bowl... BROKEN!!!!!!!!11
I bought off of E-Bay a Sunbeam juicer bowl for my 7B. It arrived poorly packaged, and broken. Thankfully, I wanted all of the other parts. But I let the seller know that the packing was poor. What a waste!!!
I agree!
Kenmore had the most innovative and best designs. My old '53 Kenmore ringer has the straight 3 vaned agitator and is an excellent performer. I also love the original Roto-Swirl. Both are superior to anything made today, in my opinion!
I have a 1959 Magnavox console with the Garrard turntable. It is also equipped with the "Phantom" remote control system. All is in perfect working order. A great instrument.
