Sears Best Kenmore Model 7034 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

I own an 87’ and an 88’ Yugo Funny you mention a Yugo. I own two of them and drove one for several years in high school/college. They were a decent car for the price but between parts being in short supply and owners doing virtually no maintenance plus the war in Yugoslavia, it proved to be the...

Sears Best Kenmore Model 7034 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

Running Soon! I’ll get the inlet valve replaced soon and I’ll go over it to make sure nothing is wrong. Then hopefully I can take a video of it running since I haven’t been able to find a single one of this model. Does everyone just use plexiglass normally to show these running with the door...

60’s to 80’s D&M changes Can anyone enlighten me on the changes to D&M dishwashers made between the 1960s and the 1980s. I know a few of you have mentioned leaking issues that were common in the later machines. I guess I was mostly wondering if changes or repairs could be made to a later...

    Caloric DW, anyone?

Difference between late 60’s and 80’s D&M machines? John or anyone else with experience, I was wondering what the differences were for the D&M machines made between the 1960’s and 1980’s. Lots of the parts look extremely similar so I guess I wanted to know what changed? I always hear worse...

    Caloric DW, anyone?

D&M 99.9% sure this is a D&M Machine based on the design. If it was closer I’d add it to the collection but this is farther than I’m willing to go. -Shannon

    NEW Kenmore Dishwasher Arrives

Love it! I’m glad to see it’s still being used and loved all these years later. I have to fire up my Old RR Portable Maytag again soon. Cheers! -Shannon

Sears Best Kenmore Model 7034 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

Plastic Nipple The plastic nipple that connects to the rubber hose going into the dishwasher, is the side of the valve that broke. I’m not sure if this was the reason that the dishwasher was never used. It would make a lot of sense if the inlet valve was damaged upon installation and just never...

    NEW Kenmore Dishwasher Arrives

Did you vet use this? Just curious to know if this was ever unwrapped and fired up? It’s been 18 years after all lol. -Shannon

Sears Best Kenmore Model 7034 Dishwasher Water Inlet Valve

It seems that during the removal process of this dishwasher that someone accidentally broke the nipple on the inlet valve for the dishwasher. Does anybody know the part number for this. I have attached a photo with the model number of the dishwasher as well as a kind of bad picture of the inlet...

    Powered Anode Rod

Rheem Marathon I have had a Rheem Marathon electric water heater for over a decade and part of its beauty is that it has a polybutylene tank thus eliminating the need for an anode rod and the tank will never rust or corrode. Highly recommend these especially in areas where water is...

Low Speed as Relevant to Filter Flo Washers

FF set I have a FF set that I haven’t ever messed with but was told it had a leak and made a clunk sound sometimes which I assumed was a clutch issue but the FF washer is a TOL machine with the mini basket in nice shape. Maybe I’ll post it and see if I can get it going soon. -Shannon

which of these 3 DWs would be the best to use

Some cool options I like quirky dishwashers but I usually try to focus on TOL models to really get a good comparison of the best options from each maker. I have both a built in and a portable RR belt driven machine, I never noticed them being very noisy at all compared to machines from that...

    Sears Best Kenmore dishwasher

It’s Home! It’s a virtually unused machine, and perfectly clean with zero rust or chipping/scratching anywhere. I’m excited to give it a test run. Couldn’t find any videos of one of these online so I’ll probably post one. -Shannon

Never used According to the owner it was installed in a lower level kitchen in a home and was never used and still operates perfectly. Which explains the condition of it. -Shannon

Found Another Almost New Like This I found a different one just like this in almost new condition. Figured it would be a good one for my vintage collection which is primarily vintage KA machines with a couple Whirlpool, Maytags and a NIB 1989 GE 1100. I think I’ll probably pick it up in the...

    Agitator re-manufacturers

Kenmore Wringer Agitator I have a 60’s era Kenmore spiral agitator from a wringer machine you could have if you could make it work for you, but if it’s too large then I suppose it may not work for your application anyway. I kept a bunch of spare parts off a junk machine I had a while back...

    RCA Whirlpool Wringer

Pump build quality I have a Lady Kenmore machine with an identical pump setup but it is non operational as is the norm, but otherwise a very clean working machine extremely similar to my Whirlpool model here. Usually these either seize up or the impeller inside the pump breaks apart/breaks off...

    RCA Whirlpool Wringer

I’m finding it hard to post much here or enjoy my hobby the last couple years with the little ones but I have a quick question for some of my friends here. I have this I’m guessing 50’s-60’s era whirlpool wringer and it works flawlessly. Clearly was well taken care of etc. The drain pump even...
