Modifying my Bosch Logixx to front fill

By jingo did it and it's very effective! It won't take forever to dampen down big loads and duvets! It only works on the wash and the final rinse! Darren

Modifying my Bosch Logixx to front fill

I'm going to run it from the prewash portion of the inlet so it's effectively a fresh water jet straight into the drum. Darren

Modifying my Bosch Logixx to front fill

So for a while I've been annoyed with how big loads take ages to get wet in the bosch and the fact there is a blank part of the seal where the usual cascade fill would be, I've decided to take matters into my own hands and create a front fill running from the inlet! Darren

    Zanussi IZ16S

I've had a partial refund from the seller which is something. I went into a local spares shop that also sells machines and priced up bearings at a cost of £80. They kindly are keeping an eye out for a Zanussi in the scrap machines and will let me know! Darren

    Zanussi IZ16S

Hmm I'm hoping to find a broken XC model and replace the tub. Though I could get the bearings and a new spider if necessary.

    Zanussi IZ16S

Hey all, Well my latest find I have wanted since the day they were released. A Zanussi IZ16S. A fantastic and innovative machine with a 15deg inclined drum and recirculatory jet and 1600rpm drum amongst others. Here's the problem. I was told it was fully working when in actual fact the...

    My £5 bargain!

Sounds like a good all rounder. The only machine I know to have a fluff filter which is the new AEG Heatpump washer dryer so that's rather good! The whirlpool has 3 paddles to my surprise! Darren

My Wash House shifts a gear

Afternoon all, Well there was only so much sitting down and watching tv I could put up with being off work ill. This afternoon I finished the drainage around the shed and bought this handy 4 way splitter hose connector, I ran a 2 metre hose to a splitter from one of them which will supply the...

    My £5 bargain!

Hey Zack! Ive not used a full cotton cycle yet, I used the daily quick which is an hour and gave good results. It's just a shame it's only 1000rpm. I agree the Hoover machines offer a great selection of programmes and the 1400rpm spin would sell it to me too! Oh how do you find the brant...

    myPRO by Electrolux

Cheers Mike, I'm still stinging from the fact it should've had a jet but they've dropped it. The optisense makes the cycles so variable. I've had a full load take 3hours, 2.5 hours, 1.5 hours and 50 minutes!! It washes and rinses well and is amazing at spinning anything! Darren

Dryer Bobload - Putting HE to the limit

Hey! So I took this challenge. I washed this lot in my bosch Logixx and then stuck it in my AEG Heatpump dryer. I used the energy label cupboard dry programme that is the most efficient on maximum setting. It took 2 hours 35 seconds! And the drawer is almost full! I love this dryer! Darren
