New Speed Queen front loader video!

Malcom, the Q is mandatory, and befitting. :)

New Speed Queen front loader video!

I'm very happy with the water level. If it can be raised, I'm not sure how.

New Speed Queen front loader video!

I think I have the most thirsty towels in the world. And there were a dozen of them. The towels came out very dry and with no sudsy feel. I'm could have added up the 5 rinses but I didn't want a mini series of a video. I'll make a less demanding load of sheets next in the quick cycle. I'll use...

New Speed Queen front loader video!

Yep. Towels are dripping wet. Hard to see on video. If you soaked a towel in the sink and let the water drain out, that's how wet they are. The machine will also add water as needed.

New Speed Queen front loader video!

Finally got my SQ replacement. Here's a video of large load of 12 bath towels. SQ recommends filling the drum to the top, but not cramming it. The towels hold a huge amount of water and the washer did a good job of getting rid of the water during the final spin...adjusting to add spins. The 45...

    Speed Queen (or other) decision

45 minutes for a good wash. As short as 24 in quick wash. With options and up to four rinses, soak, heavy soil, and pre wash, it can go up to 2 hours.

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

The more I review the situation, I had forgotten that the top of the washer box was cut open...that seems odd to me, and makes me think that the washer was dropped or something, they opened it, couldn't see any real damaged and delivered it. ABT.com states that it will be delivered in a...

    Speed Queen (or other) decision

Highly recommend the Speed Queen top loader. Hot water is not dumbed down in the TL or FL. With the new digital models, you can have multiple rinses, but when using the proper amounts of detergents (and quality brands), multiple rinses are not necessary. I use near odorless detergents and...

Saving up for a new front-load washer/dryer- Speed Queen or Electrolux?

Interestingly, the Speed Queen FL and TL indicate a max inlet temp of 125°. I was wondering if my 140° tap would harm anything? SQ do not have heaters. I'm in love with the performance of the new Soeed Queen FL, I'll give my full review once the faulty machine is exchanged.

    IT CAME

Beautiful. Love my Speed Queens. I even like the way you can hear the dryer tick down and progress in the timer cycles. Enjoy!

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

Hi DADofES, I saw that posting as well, and did check the literature from Speed Queen which says that it does keep the water level through all cycles. As I washed various loads I was beginning to call BS on it and believe the posting. Then I put in a couple of heavy quilts - like handmade...

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

Model Hi MieleFan, I got the AFNE9RSP113TW01 - front load, digital, rear controls. It matches my existing SQ TL and dryer style. One of the BEST things I love about the new washer IS the digital controls. Nearly endless combinations of cycles--worth every penny to me! Plus they look...

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

The loose panel was the first issue I dealt with (after the 3" dent/scratch on the side was identified). I opened the door to get the hoses out and the noticed the gap. I too thought of a screw. I didn't freak out over it, but called SQ and he sent me instructions. SUPRISE, there are no...

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

It's on a concrete floor. I'll poke around the upper springs if I can. Yes, it's done it from the initial test load. It's two days old.

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

That's the irony about the whole situation. I declined installation since I wanted to make sure that it was installed correctly--by me. The machine is perfectly balanced in all directions--I was obsessed with making sure this was correct. The locknuts correctly retightened on all legs after...

Help! New FL Speed Queen is misbehaving!

Hello everyone, I anxiously awaited my new Speed Queen, but she's thumping during the ramp up period. Wash cycles are silent, full spins (when she does decide to do one) are relatively smooth. Please review the thumping in this video and offer advice. Speed Queen wants to send a tech, I want...

New Front Load Speed Queen is on it's way!

Thanks Eddy! That looks easy enough to do. I would imagine the 2" drop would still apply until i reached the trap. Malcolm, I've been jealous of your Imperials for years. Recently watched your videos again when I was trying to decide. Strictly, do you have pics of your new washers? I've...

New Front Load Speed Queen is on it's way!

Thanks LaVida...help me with definitions of "upward drops" and "pipeheads". Sorry, plumping ignorant. I had plan to simply use splitters on the water supplies. I do like 2 loads of laundry a week, so not like it will be used a lot.

New Front Load Speed Queen is on it's way!

So, my question is... How easy is it to "add on" to the standpipe? Plumping isn't my thing, or at least I've never tried. But I am pretty handy. The new washer would need a standpipe near the metal exhaust vent on the left. Is it a simple "T" connection, or is there something more I need to...

New Front Load Speed Queen is on it's way!

For those that know me (and my endless amount of Speed Queen videos on YouTube) will know that I love my Speed Queen top loader. It's over 6 years old now, sisters set is 4 years old, and the vacation set is 5 years old. Never had a problem. I needed a new toy though. :) I loved the...
