Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

I used a hacksaw--wish I had a Dremel...it's really rough to say the least. Also use an electric drill to create starting points. If I ever do it again, I'll get a Dremel. Since it was an experiment, I wasn't too concerned on how Frankenstein-ish the SQ looked. It was a flex vane...

Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

I'd love to have another blue, but especially the pistachio color. I'll work on the videos. Towels will be the easiest at first. The WestingQueen is at my house in the mountains, so not a lot of laundry here.

Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

Sorry for the long delay...here's how I created the WQ! Sorry for the long delay--have had some work and family issues that have taken priority...I've been offline for a good while. I wanted to wait until I could draw fancy pictures, but I simply don't have time. 1. I took a SQ flex agitator...

cancel order on Speed Queen washer and dryer

I will indeed--things have settled down now. I've had a lot of family and work issues going on--so I've been offline for quite awhile. What would you like to see? I was holding off on how I did the Westinghouse agitator because I wanted to draw a nice picture...never had the time. I'll post...

Testing The Speed Queen Like CR Does: Cool Water/Stained Load

I've noticed in my Speed Queen that the line on the selector switch isn't very accurate--try setting the line or "pointer" just a bit before the actual "heavy" line on the control panel...that's probably where your missing 3 minutes are hiding. :) I am in love with BIZ. Put in your detergent...

    Zote soap!

I think it smells good--I'll have to try grating it--not seen the flaked version. WOO HOO! A reason to fire up the Maytag! :)

    Amway SA8 Liquid

I've used SA8 and just about every other detergent known to man. I've bought it from the Amway lady since 1991 and never had any issues, and super clean rinsing. After using just about everything, I use three detergents: SA8, Charlie's Soap, Tide Original (non-HE for the scent-reminds me of...

Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

Very cool. I noticed my agitator has ribs on the bottom of the fins. Wondered what the were for. The PLUNGE is what makes it an awesome agitator. Reminds me of aggressive hand washing, and it sounds cool. Lol

Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

Alright, I feel a "dialing agitator" video coming up in a few weeks when I get back to the mountains. Only bulky thing I have is a comforter, but I'll throw in a washcloth and we can count the number of turnovers. :)

Best detergent choice for vintage machines??

Do yourself a favor and discover the magic of BIZ detergent additive. Love the stuff...can be used for all kinds of stuff beyond washing. It even says for super tough stains, just replace your detergent entirely with BIZ!

Something wicked this way comes! A White WestingQueen?

Darn, I ailed to snap a pic of it before I attended it together. When I'm back up there (cabin) I'll take it apart and check on it.
