    6 way lamps?

Very cool fitting! I have seen the flor lamps with circline fluorescents and the mogul socket in the center. One of my lamps has a C9 socket in the base light, I haven’t looked inside the other to see.

    6 way lamps?

On top of fans and appliances, I’ve developed a new interest, lamps. In particular 6 way floor lamps. A six way lamp is actually a lamp having a 3 way socket in the center, surrounded by 3 other standard sockets. The 3 ways socket has its own knob, while the outer sockets are controlled by...

    Glass straw dispenser?

Different company maybe? Looks like they’re still around, I see their stuff listed on Amazon. I remember as a kid we got a juicer from Ace Hardware and it’s that brand, still has the label inside copyright dated 1995.

    Glass straw dispenser?

Does anyone have any vintage style straw dispensers that are glass, cylindrical in shape and have a metal lid with a shaft connected to a cup that lifts the straws when the lid is removed? I’ve seen a few around and they are available new also. I’ve seen them in clear, green or blue glass and...

    Cooktop and separate oven popularity

My aunt and uncles house (a ranch that my uncle had built in the 1970s) had the separate wall ovens and cooktop too. The wall ovens were Thermador that vented to the outside, and had that specked porcelain inside that reminded me of the one Julia Child had in her cooking show in the 90s. The...

I like the chrome and black look, reminds me of my parents 1980s (electric) Hotpoint.

    Cooktop and separate oven popularity

In many homes built in the 50s/60s, even the smaller ranch homes would tend to have a single wall oven and separate cooktop. Often mobile homes from the 60s and 70s did too. But these days I don’t see many of the average new homes having wall ovens anymore, unless you get into large custom size...

How Much REFRIGERATOR Does a Home Need

Yeah as a kid I looked at remodeling magazines back in the 90s and they sure made it looked like every kitchen had a Subzero fridge and a Viking or Five Star gas range with double ovens, 6 burners and a griddle. Lol

How Much REFRIGERATOR Does a Home Need

My parents have a top freezer fridge in the kitchen and an upright freezer in the pantry, that replaced a smaller chest freezer. More frequently used items go in the top freezer, stuff used infrequently or kept long term go in the upright one.

How Much REFRIGERATOR Does a Home Need

As a kid I was fascinated by side by sides and thought anyone who had one with the ice and water dispenser was definitely high fallutin! LOL the dispensers were amazing to me and I loved the little dispenser door light and chrome drain cover for the dispenser spill catch area. My neighbor had an...

Clean Earwax Camera - WiFi & Visible Removal Spoon, USB

I have to have my ears flushed about every two years. When I used to do it at the doctor they used a rubber bulb and bowl of water. Now that I go to an ENT, they use a machine that sprays water in each ear, and then the doctor scrapes out any remaining wax. My ears get clogged so badly that I...

Also I did see a Kenmore upright freezer and I think a French door refrigerator at Lowes not too long ago. Probably a couple months back.

    Older coppertone 20” range

Saw this in a thrift store building awhile back and just now got a picture. I know it’s not great but couldn’t get a shot of the brand or anything on the panel. Seems electric apartment ranges with rear controls are pretty uncommon. Has a grounded outlet too. I’m guessing maybe Dixie or Magic...

    The END of Kenmore

Think Cleva has a deal to use the Kenmore name on the vacuums they got from Panasonic. Most major retailers sell them thru their websites, HSN and QVC may too. Some Walmarts and Target sell Kenmore vacuums in store.
