Amazingly… It appears to work. It tumbles, it shifted into spin. I think all it needs a a boot and a paint job.

Potentially I don’t know of any source and I’ve got too many machines as it is.

Have had this machine for several years. Door boot is rotted but otherwise I believe this machine works. It energizes, solenoids work, it shifts into spin. I’ll never find a boot so hoping someone will want it for parts. Otherwise, it’ll go to the scrapper.

Clutch shift This 1970 GE got its clutch rebuilt. It was pretty much frozen. It has a nice lengthy slow agitation before shifting and I love that. During the spin, if you listen closely, you’ll hear it shift then as well.

Finally! After 9 months of waiting and two machine shops, I have a new center post for this machine! I never knew how hard it would be to find a shop willing to take this on but I’m very happy it’s done and can finally start the rebuild!
