Oh how could you not love a hard scratchy towel? Experiment with 10 minutes of dryer and then finish on the line. I love the cost of drying of the sun. Also the disinfecting and whitening factor that you get too. Here across the ditch in NZ the sun irradiates.

I am slow to reply to this But I would check that the brush holder is correctly plugged into the motor and the tiny pin which goes behind the screw at the 6 o’clock position hasn’t fallen out. The brush holder has 4 spades which have to go into 4 plugs Richard

check the lock Look if there are any obvious broken pieces. How brave/handy are you? You can pull the lock out without a full disassembly. You need a T20 torx screwdriver/bit and a small screw driver.
