I tried to acquire this, since I do have the matching dryer. I was beat out by someone I know. Hopefully I can make a deal with them to get this washer, as this is one of my dream machines.

qsd-dan,  I wouldn't really call it a set. A Maytag washer and a Westinghouse dryer. And the dryer is definitely not top of the line.  But yeah, she would have already had it sold, had she not got greedy.

Just wondering why you are wanting to convert it? Is it currently not working? I would suggest, if it is still working, to replace the seals and rewire it.
