That was normal for this generation of Maytags. I remember my 9904's and 9304 doing this. Once the pressure switch has been relieved, there is only a few seconds the does before it will do a quick spray. Of corse make sure your motor carriage and pump are lubed and adjusted so-so

We use them. They actually work pretty well. It alows our techs to be able to slide out 36" and 48" ranges.

I seem to remeber some recent talk about a turquoise maytag set. But i could not find anything either.

I have to also vote for outdoor exhaust. I have had a few recirculating hoods which did nothing, a few downdrafts that were so/so. After my first "exhaust" type hood, i would not want anything else. The pictures are not the best and pardon the mess in the second picture, we had just got done...

I have to vote for Bosch.

I never have a problem with washing them, it's the dryer that can be a pain. We have 2 Bosch full size dryers and 1 Maytag. The older of the 2 Bosch will ball sheets in a hot minute. The newer one usually does a pretty decent job. The Maytag dryer is usually right on point.
