Picked up a WP DW last night that had been put out along the road only 1 mile from home. Looks to be in VG condition. Haven't tested yet to see if there are any issues. It's a model GU980SCGS3. Serial number puts it as manufactured in 3/2001. Would like to know if this is a water conserving...

Ive read that linoleum counter tops were quite popular in the 30s-40s. Like Eddie stated it was meant as flooring so it is durable. But as mentioned it cant take repeated exposure to standing water as it will degrade. I guess you'd have to be vigilant about drying any water that may be splashed...

Congratulations on getting it About 12 years ago I came across a Bendix just like that in an old house only a couple miles away along with a 1950-51 Philco fridge. I was told by the owner I could have anything I wanted. I took the fridge but not the Bendix. I kick myself now for leaving it!

GE switched from the earlier hydraulic controlled "Automatic Calrod" to electric controlled Sensi-temp in about 1960 which used sensor WB21X5054. It had white leads. If I remember correctly it is 10 ohms. Then around 1965 WB21X154 sensor with yellow leads replaced the white lead sensor. Part #...
