Cast iron with a porcelain coating can be washed in the dishwasher but it’s better to wash it by hand. In the dishwasher it can get dull according to Le Creuset.

1600rpm is still the max for most brands on the European market. I believe the extra 200rpm doesn’t do a lot more. Small correction, AEG/Electrolux has models with 1300 and 1500rpm on the market for quite a while now. But perhaps not in every country.

IMHO a moot point when you’re allergic to both. The outer shield of the dust mites contain a protein too that’s an allergen. It’s not the same allergen as in the dust mite poop.

Both dustmites and their poop are allergens. There were 2 separate tests for them. According to my allergist I’m allergic to both.

Many years ago the told me at the hospital that in order to keep my asthma under control it’s best to wash bed linens at 140 degrees Fahrenheit for at least an hour to kill the dust mites effectively.

A Miele dishwasher with three racks from the 70’s. IIRC you could have other racks if it had to be used for other purposes than washing cups and saucers.
