Came across this video. It’s a taller 3 rack Candy dishwasher from 1978.

Before Miele introduced the cutlery rack there was a professional Miele dishwasher with three full racks. Some Italian brands had three full drawers in their dishwashers. IIRC those were 60’s models. These Italian dishwashers were taller than usual.

Most European dishwashers are cold fill. I use the Pots and Pans cycle on my Miele most of the time at 75 degrees Celsius (167 degrees Fahrenheit). It’s cooled down a bit but for the two rinses afterwards cold water enters the machine and blasts it on the dihes. Never had something broken. So...

Thanks John, The wattages are 800, 600, 360, 180 and 90 Watts. Exactly the same as the 27 year old Bosch oven. The Panasonic combo microwave resides in the laundry room now.

The old oven

I had an old Bosch micowave combi oven. One of the heating elements broke down for the second time. Decided I wanted something new so ordered a cabinet and an oven. The oven is a Siemens with built in microwave.

Nice dishwasher Jon! Americans often have lots of stoneware especially bowls. For them to fit in a dishwasher the tines have to be further apart from eachother than the tines in a European dishwasher are. In Europe we mostly use thinner porcelain, no problem with my bowls in my Miele.

I’m not too sure about Zeolite. At one of the offices I worked there was a Bosch dishwasher with Zeolite. When that thing was just done and I or someone else would open the door I would get an asthma attack. That never happened with other dishwashers. I assume it was the very warm humidity that...

When my mother bought her first automatic washing machine, the wife of the owner came over to explain how to use it. I bet there was a manual too. I ordered a new car yesterday, I can tell in a few months if it comes with a manual.
