    New Washer Choice

(Disclaimer: Not my videos but I do agree, I love watching the action especially seeing how the spins fair out) One thing that i do love about the LG's is how they have a re-circulation pump...and the spray rinses in the spin, something I wish my Whirlpool Duet other manufactures added to...

    New Washer Choice

"I personally would skip both TL options. Most who used a good FL properly would never go back" Count me in! Our current Whirlpool Duet washer mismatched with a Kenmore (Samsung DV419AEW Equivalent) dryer replaced our old set which was a Maytag Dryer and an Inglis direct drive washer (top...

    New Washer Choice

I'd buy the LG WM3670 FL, they clean very well and spin out well too, if water level becomes an issue, a "water plus" option is available which will add more water.

    Front loader spin protocol

We own a 2 year old Whirlpool WFW72HEDW, what I notice about the interment spins is it mostly just tries to get the load roughly balanced which *MOST* of the time manages to balance to load to the point where it is just a tad bit off, and then will go into the spin. It behaves this way for the...

Quick vids: Speed Queen AWNE92 TL

That's a neat feature, I kinda wish the US versions also had a neutral drain.

Quick vids: Speed Queen AWNE92 TL

I've never ever seen a speed queen do a drain before the spin, this was REALLY interesting to watch and fascinating! Because for the longest time I've seen and heard speed queen commercial coin op units spin drain. Also I notice this machine is a whole hell of a lot quieter then the US models...

Picked Up an LG TrueSteam and Sidekick

Furthermore I've read using powders in front loaders helps to contribute to mold prevention and it seems true, we've had our washer for 2 years and there are no smells, mold - anything.

Picked Up an LG TrueSteam and Sidekick

Powders vs Liquids Powders have been used by our family for years, my Mom was introduced to tide powder by a friend a good 30 or 40 years back and we still use tide powder up to this day in our 2 year old Whirlpool duet. In our old Whirlpool/Inglis top load, we used powder and the results...

I can't help but notice how quiet this machine is!

    Whirlpool WSSR Resource Saver Washer

Are there any videos of this unit performing the spray rinses? These machines have always intrigued me.

    Speed Queen front loader walking

Leveling suggestion I know you said the machine is perfectly level, but by any chance if the unit manages to get out of level, I'd recommend setting the feet to the lowest they can go and leveling the machine like that. Further, I have a newer Whirlpool Duet which sits on the second floor of...

Speed Queen FL on the fritz *again*

Filled halfway up the glass? MCU gone again? I'd say this is a definite lemon.

    ATTN fellow Speed Queen owners:

If One day SQ designs a front loader at 4.2cf or greater and I manage to get my hands on one. I will expect a minimum of 15-20 years out of the thing without any repairs, including minimum maintenance. With my current washer I'm expecting 7-8 years, if it lasts longer, whatever.

Samsung Flex Wash & Flex Dry at CES 2017

How long will the washer last? A year? Will they both blow up because they will experience abnormal vibrations? All of that aside, this is just a copy of LG's twin wash system.

Does anyone else hate the "normal" cycle on new washers?

My thoughts We still use "Normal" on our front loader about 80-90%. Normal for front loaders IMO is still fine. The spray rinse on HE top loaders is what really hindered my decision to avoid buying another top load. A "Normal" cycle on my duet takes around 36-45 minutes (timed) which includes...

    Dishwasher timing question

Possible timer issue? Just finished another load in the dishwasher. Looks like this is still our primary dishwasher until our Kenmore gets fixed for the third time, the wrong part was installed. I ran a cycle on normal with High temp boost selected and I ran into something pretty odd, after...
