Question is what country of assembly? Likely Chinese parts. To me, it's another off brand like Cosmo, Hisense, etc.

    The Home Entertainment Industry

For sure Matt! I was gifted a Bose surround subwoofer which doesn't have a power switch, so it has to be unplugged. I only use it for 2 channel bass boost on certain weaker vinyl, phono cartridges and USB drive music predominately at lower volumes.

    The Home Entertainment Industry

I unplug my power conditioner/surge protector every night, during, or if storms are forecast when not home. I leave nothing in standby power when not at home either. Not after losing a vintage amp. to lightning.

    Interesting experience w/new Bosch D/W

The Ascentia line is not known for many years of service.

Everything is more expensive now, and increasing. The consumer price index isn't even remotely maintaining pace with inflation.

Yes Chet, easy to clean the knobs, but not even a steam clean oven cycle. I wouldn't trade my 2007 GE Profile dual fuel for one. Controls under glass. Only drawback is if water from a pot on a front burner drips on it, it sometimes will clear off. Only higher end ranges today have controls under...

    Number PULEAZE! Part Eight:

My uncle was an install and wiring tech. for AT&T. They worked in junction tunnels and new high rises. He got zapped once by his butt set. No one knew there was lightning outside yet.

KitchenAid KDFE204KPS: The good, the bad, the ugly

Who knows? The stainless around it rusts. Obviously it isn't 18/10% nickel stainless. P.S. My Sanyo boom box was the 9030 K. The lower front was silver color. Not early for me at all. Upper body workout this morning.

KitchenAid KDFE204KPS: The good, the bad, the ugly

I've read complaints of rust around the vent if it is in the front top of the door.

Who makes these? Appear not be self cleaning ovens. A 24 inch wall oven doesn't hold much.

    Fridge not cooling well

I suppose 25 years is good out of an appliance these days, or even post 90's. Not that you shouldn't repair it again. Our GE 25.4 cu. ft. side by side is from 2007. Had a couple warranty service visits for the ice maker jamming and water valve leaking. We no longer use them, On the second...

    Console stereos: 1958-84

Panasonic made great products. I don't remember all the Sanyo features. It was black, tuning dial on top with balance, tone, and volume also. I think I paid $189. I handed it down to my brother.

    Console stereos: 1958-84

I had a mid sized 1980 Sanyo cassette/radio only type. It had very good dynamic range and stereo imaging for a box with small tweeters in addition to the main drivers.

Matt, 28 mpg is excellent especially if you were driving at least 65. A cold engine or short trips are not good to measure fuel economy by.

Oh, that was the MKZ. Ford CD-3 Fusion/Mondeo platform. The interiors became cheaper from 1994 on. My friend had a 1990 MK-7 LSC. It drove great and I liked the sweeping curve of the dash in front of the driver.

I thought the air bladder lowering was exclusive to the LSC. Unless it was on the MK-7 LSC.

Yes, so you have the LSC right?

Yes Matt, the first was the Cadillac 8-6-4 with intake valve deactivation. While it was good for economy and emissions, the microprocessor wasn't perfected and the shift between cylinders could be felt and was erradic. Most were just disconnected making all 8 fire. That 368 cu. inch cast iron...

O, ok, makes sense now. Owners and mechanics lothe newer Rams. Even some who build them won't lease or buy them. Front ends are junk and don't hold up well with wider or larger wheels. Cummins EGR heaters erode and metal fragments get into the crank cause and cause engine bearing failure etc. V8...
