You may be able to get a replacement door gasket if necessary, sometimes you can lucky and find parts for these older machines or make something else work. I would assume this is a porcelain tank reverse rack...if so you can also adjust the door latch so it closes tighter

Why not replace the pump? New pumps can be had for cheaper than a new unit and it’s very easy to change it on a power clean dishwasher. You wouldn’t even need to pull the unit out of the cabinet.

It’s a shame they got rid of KitchenAid laundry. I know Maytag is suppose to be the step up brand but I don’t feel whirlpool has really given Maytag any appreciable step up in build quality or features.

Thank you for the information. I guess it’s always interesting how certain models and brands are common in one place but not another. I’ve seen plenty of the Whirlpool/Roper/Estate badged ones but never one with the colored racks. It looks like they are the same color as my portable Ultra Wash.
