    Moved Again...More New Appliances!

Washing Machine... its an Indesit washer/dryer. Not my first choice but it came with the place, and beggers cant be choosers. Its in the utility room, which is a blessing because its very very noisy; even when washing. Seems to have exactly the same type of drum rythym as an Ariston Washer Dryer...

    Moved Again...More New Appliances!

Close up of the dishwasher. Its made my Caple (think I saw a thread about Caple a couple of days ago) Only used machine twice so far; I have used the rapid cycle (crap!) and the Eco 50*c Cycle - this was excellent. MAchine is very quiet too

    Dishwasher Smell.....

hey... thanks all for your replies - i tried the vinegar approach (as i couldnt be bothered to go to the shop to get the other bits) and it has worked! Hell knows what it was, but the machine now smells "clean" again. Also going to replace the rinse aid with a lemon scent one, rather than the...

    Dishwasher Smell.....

Hey guys, My dishwasher has a smell inside that I dont seem to be able to get rid of; I have run it empty on a 75*C intensive cycle with TWO finish tablets, yet the smell still remains. I have taken the filters appart, and they are currently soaking in household bleach; any advice would be...

    Liquid Detergent V Powder Detergent

....I must admit, I have recently changed from poweder to liquid and you can clearly see the difference on my white items - e.g. work shirts, my towels & my bed linen; its all "off white" if that makes much sense? I guess thats because the liquid has no bleach in it. Going forward, i will use...

...'Contd - new flat new appliances

Hello all, I cant find my old thread about my new appliances in my place BUT wanted to give you an update! Washing Machine: It is, in short awful. The washing performance really is bad, the rinsing is even worse. Spin is Ok, on 1000 RPM. It was a hot and cold fill machine, so i have modified it...

    New Flat - New Appliances!

Hey Chris, I have switched from using the "bio" cycle to the normal cycle and there wasnt much difference. Tonight its on a "strong" cycle, with one finish 5 in one tablet it there....i will wait and see what the results are in the morning, its getting very annoying

    New Flat - New Appliances!

Hey Darren, The hotpoint is in storage for the time being....sort of missing it to be honest, although it is great that a 60*c cycle is done in an hr with the hot and cold fill!! I thought they were made by Servis - the controls and orange pilot lamp are all very similar. I really dont like...

    New Flat - New Appliances!

Nick - thanks for your message. I think the washer has an induction motor, it is very quiet, and it makes a loud humming noise each time it is startig to tumble from a stand still. Brush motors wouldnt make that noise, I guess thats because they dont have a capacitor. The cupboard does stay shut...
