Washing Machine... its an Indesit washer/dryer. Not my first choice but it came with the place, and beggers cant be choosers. Its in the utility room, which is a blessing because its very very noisy; even when washing. Seems to have exactly the same type of drum rythym as an Ariston Washer Dryer...

Hey Chris, I have switched from using the "bio" cycle to the normal cycle and there wasnt much difference. Tonight its on a "strong" cycle, with one finish 5 in one tablet it there....i will wait and see what the results are in the morning, its getting very annoying

Nick - thanks for your message. I think the washer has an induction motor, it is very quiet, and it makes a loud humming noise each time it is startig to tumble from a stand still. Brush motors wouldnt make that noise, I guess thats because they dont have a capacitor. The cupboard does stay shut...
