    Something is in the drain valve keeping it from closing. Open it up could be a bit of glass toothpick etc. Easy fix.

    Mark all of the wires. Take the contactor to any compatant electric supply house they will find something that will work. Those machines are beasts that are better than anything made today. Good luck.

    The pin and switch are on the upper right hand of the door and tub. Pin upper right corner of tub, switch hole is upper right hand corner of door. Does switch click? Sometimes pin breaks off some were plastic.

    Kds My moms KDS23 does a sump purg to clean the filter after the main wash. Two plus clean filter and HOT water for the rinse. Total "Normal Cycle" water usage 9.5 gallons. Quiet too...
