Update... I tried changing the imbalance sensor setting from "Tacho + EZU" to "Tacho" and that didn't make a difference. There is one other setting in there I will try.

Harrison, I think you're on to something. I suspected that as well. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone else have this issue or does their towel cycle spin at 1600?

Thanks Glenn I typically wash my towels on the normal cycle and there are no issues getting to 1600 rpm. I'd prefer to use the towels cycle because the wash period is much shorter but am forced to use the normal cycle so they get spun out at 1600.

Anyone else have issues with their W1 reaching max spin speed of 1600 rpm on the towels cycle? I can't remember the last time mine actually did a 1600 spin on this cycle. I have no issues with any other cycles reaching the max speed.
