    LG WashTower

The wash tower would have been the washer to buy if my other one didn’t break so soon. Don’t let the one rinse cycle scare you. I’m pretty active and get my clothes pretty dirty and sweaty. I’m amazed by how well it cleans and rinses. For my dirtier clothes. I usually increase the soil level...

    Bosch speed 60 cycle

Ralph, I know what you mean by squeaky clean! I notice it on rubber spatulas, they don’t always feel clean. Some loads do feel squeaky clean on auto but if it’s an oily load, yes heavy should be used!

    Miele w4840 series

Well. Getting it in my little nv200 van shouldn’t be a problem. It’s low to the ground, I have thought of carefully putting it on its side. <— maybe I should be yelled at to not do it! It’s 1.5 miles from my house and the fastest speed is 35mph. So I’m not to worried about road vibrations. I...

    Miele w4840 series

Couple questions I’m not sure if they have the original shipping bolts. So when transporting it. Do I really need them? I plan to be careful but I thought I’d ask. Is there a side that would help with transport? Secondly. Why can’t you fill these machines all the way up? Breaking the belt or...

    Miele w4840 series

I’m picking it up! Delivery is next Saturday for their new set. So I’m officially getting my first Miele!!

    Miele w4840 series

Wow lots of info! I tried ordering the part one of you sent me and it says it can’t be shipped to my address :/ I guess this was one reason I didn’t buy a Miele because parts would take a while to find/order- esp with a growing family and seems like the washer runs all the time. The fact...

    Miele w4840 series

I told them I will call Monday to see if there are any parts for it. Unless you guys know where to find parts. They are thinking of buying a new set. If they do. I’m tempted to take it! Is it worth it?

    Miele w4840 series

It’s the dispenser controller that’s leaking in the washer. Activating the waterproof system. I’m having trouble finding parts

    Bosch speed 60 cycle

I haven’t sat there and listened to the dishwasher on speed 60 cycle yet. But I do think it’s louder as in pressure when washing dishes. Wish there was a way to hack it and use crystal dry! Just nice to unload the dishwasher an hour after dinner! Ralph, I have the 800 series too! I have yet...

    Miele w4840 series

I have a customer that I know of that has one of those big Miele front Load washer and dryer. Window cleaning is my full time job and they told me about their machines- they really like it, but they have found it hard to find people to work on it. I told them I have experience working on washers...

    Bosch speed 60 cycle

Can anyone tell me the specs of Bosch’s speed 60 cycle? Does it use more water? More water cycle changes? Higher pressure? More hot water? Timed cycle instead of sensing? I genuinely curious! I’ve used it a couple times and really have been impressed how well it cleans. I would use it all...

    If you had to choose...

I agree with appnut With your speed Queen being smaller, Miele are smaller front loaders when you are comparing cu ft.. however I’ve heard you can get a lot in there and it will clean well. LG will do well with your big bulky items- with turbo wash, the jets will help saturate the load well...

    Bob Load Thread anyone?

The bob load Here is my bob load a few months back. Everything came out clean. Except for one gray cap on the third rack had a little loose food on it.

Anyone know about the KitchenAid washing machine - KAWS700 series? Recommended or not?

One of my favorite machines. Because of the lower speed, it’s much quieter and sounds better. A friend of mine had one of these growing up. The mom probably did 4 loads a day and lasted 10 years before she gave it up. Not to mention she always stuffed it full.. clothes would barely turn!

What is the strangest stuff you found in an washing Machine

One washer repair was a panty hose stuck in the pump of a duet sport. Another was 11 baby socks in the pump of a duet - original design- the owner said, see the laundry do it eat socks! Another was an older dryer I took apart. I found at least $17 dollars worth of coins in it...

Simple questions on Bosch 800 operation

Reply to guidelines I have a 878 as well. Mine is the pocket Handel as well. I really like mine too, cleans fast! As far as the auto power, you can set it to turn off, as far as starting the dishwasher, you should hear a beep after a long press. Then you would have to close it in like 5...

    LG TurboWash

LG Turbo wash I have an LG Turbowash As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any gunk built up in the jet zones- using a clean tub option followed by a washing machine cleaner will help solve this issue. Wash to rinse: Dirt from the initial wash had already been rinsed away. LG uses spray...

Anyone know why LG washers do this?

Older ones were worse Newer ones do little bit longer and it’s three times.. older ones I think did 4-5 short dribbles back to back.. they were annoying. Yes. Like others have said, the reason the drain pump turns on and off to allow water to gush out. I don’t think this was mentioned, but...

    Favorite Dryer Design?

Whirlpool duet quad baffle design is my favorite. Quiet and fast. Fisher paykel smart load is my second favorite.. Though, the Neptune dryer 99’ series is a beast!
