bearing is loosened with a bit of gentle persuasion and a lot of wd-40 and 3 in one oil.

you can do it! i've fixed a bunch of these d&m machines, parts are plentiful on ebay at least, probably other places too. i see seal kits all the time, and motors as well. don't get suckered in to paying a huge price, seal kits are usually under 20 bucks and a used motor around 20-50. at least...
